Revenue Assurance Workshop
22 April 2008 10.00 AM - 3.00 PM Melbourne
UMA held its first workshop in April 2008 in Melbourne and was titled “Analysing non theft revenue loss”. It was facilitated by Duncan Holland from Total Risk Management Limited as a follow on from the revenue assurance training conducted in October 2007 in Melbourne. Participants in attending this workshop were urged to bring some company research on a particular area of loss and use this during the workshop to produce a business case and project strategy for management approval. Examples of research included exception reporting relevant to the particular loss issue, results from a pilot installation review targeting the loss issue including other benefits identified during the review and financial statistics from the pilot including historical losses, any recoveries negotiated and the value of increased revenues for the next 12 months.
All attendees reported that the workshop exceeded their expectations and that they would attend another UMA workshop/seminar. What ranked highly was the facilitator’s style and presentation as well as the workshop setup and duration. As a training workshop, all attendees received a Certificate of Attendance to use in their training and development profile. |
